A “Marché-des-producteurs” is actually a huge evening picnic in the outdoors, where local producers sell their products. Each village has its own “Producteurs” and so the products differ. In general, there are snails, duck, bread and wine but also fruit and freshly made desserts. After you bought your food, move on to a long trestle table, join other diners, eat and enjoy.
In the immediate vicinity of Peyrelevade there is a ‘Marche-des-Producteurs ” on Tuesday in Sauveterre-la-Lémance and on Thursday in Loubejac.
